A new version of BubbaMon is out

Hi all,

I've received a couple of mails about support for FF4 and realized I never made a proper release, so here it is. This version is pretty much the same as the release candidate, so if you're using the RC you might as well skip upgrading. The new version is available for download on my homepage: http://stenarson.homeip.net/the_void/in ... ba/firefox

Changes:
  • Support for Firefox 4
  • B3 is now detected as a supported server
  • Fixed a bug where a download with apostrophe in its name couldn't be cancelled.
  • Fixed some other minor issues
Note that you still need to change the B2/B3 firmware (see previous thread for more information).

Enjoy

/Johan

Hello Johan,
It seems that your homepage is offline.
I cannot connect to any of your websites listed on forum.excito.net

Same here. I've just installed FF5 on my netbook, and bubbamon is listed as being incompatible, so come on Johan, where are you when we need you...?

BubbaMon works fine with FF5. You just need to disable compatibilty checking - http://cybernetnews.com/force-firefox-e ... atibility/

Perfect! Thank you!

(Everything works perfect! However, one bug is that FF needs to be restarted sometimes after multiple Windows Hibernate/Resumes since the download stats of BubbaMon is freezed and does not reflect the actual status of the current downloads.)

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the late reply, but I've been away (even I leave the computer once in a while for some real life activities ;-))

As for the web page, sorry 'bout this. Seems I forgot to post a message about the new address. Gmail decided to flag a warning message from dyndns as spam. This message was an account expiration warning and so I missed updating my account and lost the redirection. When signing up again, dyndns had limited the number of names available and I could no longer use the one I've been using so far (homeip.net). The new name is therefore http://stenarson.dyndns-at-home.com/the_void/

This will however change soon (I hope). I've decided to move my homepage to a web hotel and buy my own domain name. I'll try to remember to notify you when this is done ;-)

FF5, hmm how long have I actually been away??? It was only a couple of months ago I added support for FF4. These guys have really kicked it into high gear. I'll look into this and see if there are any big changes, otherwise I'll just bump the max version to support the new firefox. Feel free to post me compatibility issues if you find any.

Happy midsummer from a sunny Sweden (at least where I am).

/Johan
