Can anyone explain why there is no problem using Osx to copy files and access the bubba with file explorer? Direct when switching back to Vista all the problem comes back. And i even run vista and osx on same computer so it cant be the pc.

Hi there,

Im currently having issues with the hang/freeze bug and i think i´m up to date with the kernel.

Code: Select all

calle@bubba:~$ dpkg -s bubba-kernel bubba-modules
Package: bubba-kernel

Priority: optional
Section: admin
Installed-Size: 1700
Maintainer: Tor Krill <tor@excito.com>
Architecture: powerpc

Installed-Size: 8776

The bubba is a fresh install and it hangs on a 100Mbit switch, Trying to transfer some .mkv from my windows7 pc that is connected to the same switch. After a while it says disk is full and i need to pull the plug on the bubba..

Did another test yesterday.. Transfered 170Gb of mp3 files via FTP. Worked flawless. Are there any problems with big files or is it the same kernel issue or just samba ?

I´m happy with the product since its a rocking firewall for me but it would have been cool to put the old fileserver out of it´s missery.

Hoping for an answer.
