Hi Carl,

That mostly worked. Now I'm getting the following:

Code: Select all

root@backupserver:/home/backups# apt-get dist-upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
  python-cupshelpers
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
root@backupserver:/home/backups# apt-get install python-cupshelpers
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  python-twisted-core python-twisted-web
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  bubba bubba-backend bubba-frontend system-config-printer-udev
The following packages will be upgraded:
  python-cupshelpers
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 4 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/64.4 kB of archives.
After this operation, 4252 kB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? n
Abort.

Yup, it took some time to build it for me, but it's been deployed now :)

Hi Carl,

did you had time to look into the back list problem I mentioned earlier in this thread?
Seems like it was introduced with the latest update.

@augustiner, not at all. This is a mess-up from our side but it is quite easilly fixed. Either you can do a manual update, or you can contact support if you need help with this, we can log in remotely and fix this issue. support@excito.com.

Regarding backups and showing the timeline, with 2.5.1 we have improved the fetching of restore points since the old method was unreliable and didn't show deleted restore points. Fething these restore points is now done from target, and thus may take a while. We are looking into optimizing this process though, will be back on the subject.

Hi Johannes,

yes I noticed that it will take several seconds. However, backups are made and nothings shows up in the timeline. Even tried creating a new backup, but that doesn't work either.

Hope you've got this fixed soon.

Regards,

Albert
