Problems on my bubba, issue with power supply?

Post by msx »

Hello, i've a problem with my bubba, it doesn't start anymore.. :(
The symptomps are the following:

- The front led doesn't lit, it stais off.
- The internal led (that is connected to the HD i guess), is instead blinking, and the HD is producing some rithmic "tic tic", about twice a second, like the led bliking.
- The led on the power supply (the 12V socket) is also blinking sincronized.

I used a tester and i saw the the power supply gives the 12V when disconnected, but when connected it goes up and down like the blinking, i don't know if it's normal.

I tryed another power adapter, this one gives 12V 1A. The symptoms are the same but this time the frontal led starts blinking (with its own time, not sincronized with the other led blinking), like if the board is working as normal.

These are the things i observed.. I don't have another HD around to test.

Any idea ?

Yes, it sounds like the power supply has given up, and that's a warranty issue. Just send us your adress and we'll send you a new one immediately. Please email to support@excito.com.

All the best,
