Songbird works great, open Firefly port at your Bubba or Router, install DAAP Plugin for Songbird and connect trough daap://externalbubbaIP:openfireflyPORT in Songbird, works like a charm :)

Hello All,

I use songbird from my office, even works over the proxy-server here...
In songBird there is a fine working DAAP client.

To be safe for illegal listerner if you open port 3689 to the outerworld put a password
in the configuration.

Not tried it, but you might be able to tunnel it from a firewall or router so that you can hit your bubba on port 80 and get it to forward. Did this many years ago with RTSP from port 80 to 8181 so the right app got the RTSP request.

ha ha, known issue, set the daap server on the 443 port...
this is the HTTPS channel, so you can activate the daap-client on the 443 port.
