apt-get update problem

Post by jws »

When I call apt-get update, I get a message:

Code: Select all

W: GPG error: http://ftp.se.debian.org etch Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 9AA38DCD55BE302B
Is this bad? If so, how to fix this?

I have included the latest debian-archive-keyring into the upstream repository now, hope this will work flawlessly.

It worked for me at least. I had not installed the new key by hand so if this works flawlessly for them who has is still to be seen.

Noted that the first time you run

Code: Select all

apt-get update
you will still get the error which you can ignore but when you then run

Code: Select all

apt-get upgrade
it will upgrade the debian-archive-keyring package and after that the error should be removed.
