Raid 1?

First off I did the 1.2 major update and everything is ok so far, thanks guys!!

I am just wondering if the RAID system is working properly and my disk is mirrored.

This is what I did: After the update I logged in as admin, went to Disk-->RAID-->Create RAID array. It asked me to confirm using /dev/sdb1 which is my external drive. After confirming that it went through its machinations and now Disk-->RAID shows

I take it that everything is as it should be? The /home/storage files are now gone also (I have backups); is that normal?
