Hi All,
the DAAP server (firefly) on Bubba is a bit buggy i think. It just disappears from Itunes. so while investigating i find this:
- When i stop the Firefly-server on the admin page (Bubba:3689) the service still shows up as running in the bubba admin screen?
why? does the admin screen reflect the status of the DAAp server?
- The youngest stable SVN version for DAAP is trunk 1715 by now on sourceforge
so why is Bubba still running on version 1696? can Bubba update this with the rest of the updates? if no why not
- The only way i can get bubba to show up in my Itunes is to RESTART bubba. So mmaybe its not DAAP but rendezvous instead. any suggestions how i can test that? i use OSX 10.6 on the client
- can i update Firefly myself on bubba with the sourceforge files? How do i do that?
