Access issues

Hopefully there's somebody out there who can help a luddite like me!
Have had my Bubba2 for 18 months or so now with no problems. Until recently have successfully accessed it within my network by \\bubba\.
Recently had issues with me accessing it at the same time as another user within the network - which hadn't previously been an issue. Now it does not allow me to access it on this computer (but it does on others).
Can access via http://bubba.local and the direct IP I've assigned it.
Any suggestions welcome!
