Plug in esata drive

I have an external 2tb harddrive with usb and esata connection.

when I plug in the usb kabel in my running Bubba2 I see the drive in the section 'disk' and i can click the 'mount' button.

when I do the same with the sata cable the drive does not appear in the 'disk' section.
I cut a some plastic from the plug so it can go deep enough in the connector.

Do I have to power down the bubba, plug in the sata cable and power on again for the bubba to see the sata drive?

No, you should see it immediately after connecting the drive. Make sure you cut enough of the connector off so that it is not butting up against the Bubba's case. I had to make adjustments because it didn't work the first couple of times.
