No text is shown when displaying wireshark on a remote scree

Post by eramoli »

Hi All,

I have installed xclient on B3 and Cygwin/X on my PC. I can now open applications like xterm and emacs and have them pop up on my PC.

I also just installed Wireshark. The problem I have is that when I start wireshark it do not display ant text, only icons and graphiocs, hence rather hard to use.

You can see how it look from this screen dump.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Missing fonts?

Other applications like xman is showing text just fine, I however do not have any other graphical application that I could try, i.e. is this a wireshark issue or a Debian issue or even an issue with Cygwin/X?

When running wireshark I get the following warning on the xterm that started it, it does not look like it is related.
(wireshark:14691): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: /build/buildd-glib2.0_2.24.1-1-armel-9n4owY/glib2.0-2.24.1/gobject/gsignal.c:3079: signal name `depressed' is invalid for instance `0x2aa87018'
