Hi Rene!

I think you have to elaborate your question a bit... How is the UPS on your network, and what is the role of the other server, and how are they connected?

I (and several other Bubba users) use apsupsd, which is in the debian repositories.
Unfortunately for you, you don't have to scroll very far down their website http://www.apcupsd.com/ before you see this:
Do Not Purchase The Following UPSes
...under which your model is listed.

But there are alternatives. I know at least one fellow Bubba user uses NUT (http://www.networkupstools.org/).
I don't know if that might be able to handle your particular UPS better...
