Purple led

Post by dumbo »

My B3 has start to light with purple led instead of the usual blue on th front. I can't see any status message that indicates what could be wrong.
It's seems that the B3 works ok.

Anyone has any idea?

Have you been playing around with this?
http://wiki.excito.org/wiki/index.php/L ... _LED_color
If not, perhaps you should, just to test that the results are as expected...

That's funny. In the header i found:
Let your B3 beep and change the LED color

But in the commands you use bubbatwo
echo 0 > /sys/bus/platform/devices/bubbatwo/color

Is this possible on B3? I mean excists this directory on Bubba|3?
I ask because i don' t have the B2 only.

On my B2 i only found /sys/bus/platform/devices/bubbatwo/ledmode and it wasn't working at all.

Yes, it works the same on the B3.
I guess the name is there because of legacy reasons.

@dumbo, so your B3 is purple but still boots fine, with our web frontend working properly? This is quite strange, haven't seen this before. The last thing that happens after successful boot is to turn the led blue.

Yes, that's true. The led is purple, but the B3 seems to work fine.

wierd. Did you fiddle with software? For instance, uninstalling the bubba-backend and frontend would cause this.

No, I don't. The thing I did was to update the software, maybe something get "worung" with the update. Is it possible to trigger a new update?

Hmm, could be. If you email us (support@excito.com) with shell login information we can take a look?
