Installation of bit torrent sync on bubba two

I'm trying to install and run the bit torrent sync application on a bubba two server. I'm not able to start up the service and need some advice.

here's what i've done

- ssh as root
# wget "LINK to arm version of bit torrent sync tar file"
# tar xvzf btsync_arm.tar.gz
# ./btsync

I then recive the error 'can not start binary file'. tried to run # chmod +x btsync but still the same problem. so, how do I proceed with this?

There is no arm processor in Bubba 2. Bubba 1 (aka Bubba server) and B3 uses arm, B2 uses PPC.

AFAIK BubbaTwo is not ARM, but PowerPC. B3 is ARM (Bubba 1 also actually)

Thanks for answering, I was able to push this further but still not able to run it. Got this now...

./btsync: /lib/tls/libresolv.so.2: version `GLIBC_2.9' not found (required by ./btsync)
./btsync: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./btsync)

yeah I got confused because of these guys:http://archive09.linux.com/feature/148960. Having never actually owned a B2 I thought Id doublecheck before sending the OP on the wrong track. Hence the latency.

Have not been able to install the bit torrent sync client. I'm not really sure if it's possible to install it on a Bubba Two. Anyone that knows? further hints appreciated

I have been using bittorrent sync on my B2 for a year. I just run the (powerpc) btsync binary by the command ./btsync
I remember I set the permission of the btsync file to 777.
