Installing new software impossible

Post by postlgue »

Hallo,
when I try to install software I get some error messages as you can see in the following

Code: Select all

Need to get 616 kB of archives.
After this operation, 1024 kB of additional disk space will be used.

Reading database ... 75%dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
root@b3:/home/mini#
In addition I can't upgrade my OS from wheezy to Jessy. The led is first green then changes to purple and keeps this colour. I waited more then an hour. It seems to me that the recovery system is broken

However B3 is running still as my NAS with two USB HDDs and I can access it via putty and WebGUI.

Please help me with links where I can find solutions

Regards
