I have a B2. It is still running Etch. I never got around to upgrading it.
I'm trying to get the speedtest.php script to work. It uses curl to gather data on network throughput.
Unfortunately, it looks like my Etch deployment has a version of libcurl3 that is too old.
Code: Select all
bubba:/home/jacob/speedtest# apt-get install libcurl3-openssl-dev

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libcurl3-openssl-dev: Depends: libcurl3 (= 7.15.5-1etch1) but 7.18.2-5 is to be installed
E: Broken packages
Or is it not possible, and I should upgrade away from Etch?
