AlienBBC plugin on slimserver?

Hi all,

anyone got the AlienBBC plugin (for playing realaudio streams through slimerver) working? Or have any idea if it is likely to work? The linux version of the plugin uses mplayer, which I guess should work, but I don't really know. See:

And just in case any kind soul would like to guess if it is likely to work, based on what mplayer needs to work, this:

explains how you get mplayer working on debian. Anyone know if any of those steps are beyond bubba's capabilities?

Hi,

Its certainly doable to install it on Bubba, if its not dependant on any X86(Intel/amd processor) specifics. Mplayer is even avaliable in Etch even for arm. But i doubt it will give any good performance.
