Usb disk unmounts.

My usb disk sometimes unmounts, need to unplug and replug the disk for it to be mountable again. ive read the other post abaout a guy that had the same problems, but was able to fix after a chkdisk on his usb disk.
Did not work for me though.
Any ideas?
