You wouldn't have anything connected to the USB drive of bubba by any chance?

Yes I had - USB 3G/UMTS modem. Huawei E1752.

I thought so. If you take that out the error messages will stop. The problem seems to be typical for this brand of USB modems and are related to an issue in the driver of that modem:

The issue seems not to be a problem with Bubba, and only people with that exact brand of modem will be able to help you. Read the above link for help

I don't know why but my problem has gone.

It either was connected with the case when I had also another modem (Nokia N30) connected through USB-Serial converter or that I upgraded to last version of usb_modeswitch tool.

Now it works. In my case I am using it just for SMS handling.
But as I have the second unit of buba I will probably try to make from bubba a broadband router.
