Hi!

I just want to request that the key be added to the <server>-element of the default Mediatomb config.xml. This would help ease the process of getting bubba to stream to the PS3.

The key you are mentioning seems ok to add. Will try do that in next release. Note however that older installations will not get this key automatically since this is a config file and upgrades wont overwrite the old one. But that also means that adding it your self now is perfectly harmless

Please note that this is not the only configuration option that is needed to enable PS3 support, the PS3 also expects to see different mimetype settings for AVI files. These however, should not be added per default - because they are not compatible with other devices.

So the protocol info key alone will not do the trick, imho it should be left disabled so that PS3 users know that they have to alter some settings and so that they alter all of the required settings.

We plan to add player autodetection and autoconfiguration in one of the future MediaTomb releases, but this will take some time since we will have to replace the UPnP library first.
