Hi, SSH uses encryption which is VERY expensive on the poor ARM9 cpu. You should not expect more than what you're seeing in terms of transfer-rate over ssh. A better alternative would probably be to mount the disk via NFS. I get somewhere between 2.5 to 4 mb/sec (depending on if i use ext2 or ext3 o...

Hello Rodrigo, I've never run a DC Hub so i have no idea about software for it, didn't think people were still using Direct connect. Google did mention www.dbhub.org though, it was last updated a few months ago. I'm not sure about your Skype-issue either, what is it you have problems with? It will b...

Hi again, Yes, I am very interested in the AT91-bootloader stuff with modified USB-cable. If you were to supply some info on that topic i would be very happy, and i'll sure post my results on this forum. Although i think i'll check out the JTAG as well. Hi,
perhaps you should try http://moblock-deb.sourceforge.net/
Have not tried it myself, and you'll probably need to compile your own version. But it sounds exactly like what you want.
Good luck!

The (in)security of any database engine in conjuction with PHP is mostly derived from the PHP-application itself. Sloppy written PHP can allow for SQL-Injections by sending malicious queries in regular web-forms. Any database would presumably be vulnerable to this kind activities. Coders MUST valida...

Hello, the trick to use with tiny-proxy is that you will send all traffic through a encrypted ssh-tunnel with putty or prefered ssh-client (by setting your browser to use the tunnel-to-your-proxy as proxy). The content-proxy will never see anything else but encrypted traffic. However, it might be wo...
