Re: SMB phone
I think anonymous will always fail, but it should work if you log in using the same credentials as your PC. I am not familiar with AndSMB, but I have used the free ES File Explorer, and that works fine on all of our Android phones...

Re: A new version of BubbaMon is out
Same here. I've just installed FF5 on my netbook, and bubbamon is listed as being incompatible, so come on Johan, where are you when we need you...?

Re: Maximum attachment size
That depends very much on the circumstances. Sending someone a small-ish video by email is much easier than uploading it somewhere and then telling them how to download it....RandomUsername wrote:Yes, there will also be a limit on your SMTP server. There are many better ways to share files than email anyway.

Re: Maximum attachment size
Thanks for both replies, have made the necessary changes. I sent a large email to myself, but it seems my ISP has a 15MB limit, so I'll try it with a smaller file....

Maximum attachment size
Dear All I'm sure I've seen it somewhere on the forum, but I can't find it now, so I'll ask it anyway: is it possible to change the maximum size of attachement that can be sent with an email on the bubba (one)? I've recently had a few emails not arrive due to the attachment size, and would like to ch...

Re: Warning - iTunes 10.0
I can vouch for this fixed version of iTunes, as all of our various computers can see each other and, more importantly, the Firefly library on the bubba. I checked the Apple forum about this issue, and many users were complaining of the same problems that bubba users were having; NAS devices running...

Re: Warning - iTunes 10.0
I think Apple might have messed things up horribly, as iTunes on my XP laptop can't see any actual music files in my wife's iTunes library on her MacBook, even though the library itself shows up as being shared. Very strange... Plenty of posts about this on the Apple iTunes forum; looks like Apple r...

Re: Bubba uptime contest!
I must admit that I'm too much of a coward to try anything too experimental. Mind you, our bubba is used such a lot that I don't really want to mess with it too much with it anyway; my kids would kill me if their music became unavailable :D I have unfortunately just rebooted our bubba after 89 days,...

Re: Bubba home video/audio server solutions
Sorry, should have been a bit more specific. In our network we have the following: Server * Bubba one Audio devices * 2x Roku Soundbridge (needs to be connected to a HiFi) * 2x Freecom MusicPal (has built in mono-speaker, only uPNP [ie. Mediatomb] compatible) Video devices * Popcornhour A110 The Pop...

Re: Bubba home video/audio server solutions
We have successfully played HD video files downloaded using the Torrent client over our 11g network to a Popcornhour, without any problems with stuttering, lipsync etc., in case this helps at all...

Excellent tip. Just used the same trick to get it working for me as well.
