Re: Apache / PHP 5.x Remote Code Execution Exploit
No problem... I'm slightly busy, leaving for antarctica in a week, and my b3 works as an hub for my e-mail accounts, collecting everything and sending me a digest thru the laughable bandwidth of the e-mail account I have there: the timing of the attack could not be worse! The damn thing has literall...

Apache / PHP 5.x Remote Code Execution Exploit
I just found that my b3 was vulnerable at this exploit: http://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/29290/ It appears to have been announced only a few days ago, but it is already widespread, so I think all the bubba users with external access to their system could be at risk the php5 package is in excito's ...

I have succeeded to install the amule-daemon package on bubba. Partimage on bubba
I just managed to cross-compile the partimage-partimaged applications for bubba (they are not available as a debian sarge package) Partimage allows you to backup your partition as images, and with partimaged you can do it directly on a server on your LAN (the bubba...) The precompiled binaries, for ...

RAID-1 on bubba
I posted this on the thread about the installation of a second HD, but I think it may belong also here... I managed to install a raid-1 system putting 2 laptop hard disks (they fit both inside the box...) on the bubba, the full instructions are here . The main problem is speed, mostly seen at array ...

raid using laptop disks
I just set up a RAID-1 array on the bubba, it seem to work, just a bit slow... I gave up on trying to install a "full" raid system, including the root partition, and instead only added a third mirrored partition mounted as /home. Full instructions can be found here . http://wejump.ifac.cnr...
