hmmm, tracked down the problem to my 'stopHDreads.sh' script that reads every 5s. The script is started at boot time and somehow interferes with the bubba-frontend.

I have added the proposed 5s script to start at boot time, but now the Bubba cannot reboot unless I kill the 5s process! And when it gets back from a reboot, the LED is blinking all the time... The Apache and ntp process are not started. This is what I did: I put the script in /etc/init.d/ directory...

Cannot login at the Admin logon! (Solved)
Hi, I've upgraded Bubba to the latest version (Version 1.1.2) and now I cannot login through the web Admin login page! It all started when Apache didn't start at all after reboot. So I did this: update-rc.d -f apache2 remove update-rc.d apache2 defaults Going to http://bubba/ = OK! Going to http://b...

Blue led blinking during normal operation (Solved...)
Hi all, Discovered the other evening that the blue led keeps on blinking after booting up Bubba. It just blinks all the time - what does it try to tell me? I hoped to get rid of it by upgrading from 1.0.13 to 1.1.2, but it keeps blinking... Where do I start searching for errors?? :? Version: 1.1.2

MySQL root password?
Hi,
trying to do 'mysql -u root -p', but I don't know the root password.
Is it factory-set or something that I missed in the documentation??

Write to an USB connected NTFS disk?
Hi, Sorry for a newbie question: I have a NTFS formatted hard drive that I'd need to connect to Bubba and read/write to it. Connecting it to USB gives a read-only mount... I've installed 'ntfsprogs' and mount with: mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/windows -t ntfs This is output from dmesg: dmesg |tail sd 5:0:0:...

Map a network folder from outside?
Hi,
Is it possible to connect to a private folder from "the outside world", using an external IP address?
For instance:
net use K: \\90.xyz.zyx.xyz\home\owner /USER:owner /PERSISTENT:NO
