Re: How many B3's out there ?

One B3 upp 24/7 and 3st B2 who friends running. Running Bubbagen 1.13 on it the only drawback is the compilation times. Going tho convert my Tinker-Board to Gentoo just to get some more compile hp, hmm just got to get some more spare time first. ;) 1) Is there a capacity limit to the disks that can ...

Re: Bubbagen live-USB for B3 updated (version 1.13)

Ok i see. It was this in the README.md file who got me wonder. :D "This does not only set the bindist flag but also includes several package specific masks and USE flags required to handle conflicts with the bindist flag. When you are done installing your additional software and/or updates you ...

Re: Bubbagen live-USB for B3 updated (version 1.13)

Hi Gordon. Trying out the newest bubbagen openRC version. :) # USE="bindist" emerge --oneshot --nodeps app-admin/bubbagen !!! Problem resolving dependencies for app-admin/bubbagen !!! The ebuild selected to satisfy "app-admin/bubbagen" has unmet requirements. - app-admin/bubbagen...

Re: Bubbagen and logitechmediaserver-bin (Solved)

@jallee Turns out the displayed message was misleading. Image::Scale version 0.13 introduces a new dependency on `giflib` and because this package is not installed in the 1.11 release it failed to load the `.so`. I made the necessary changes and incremented the patch level to 4. To install it, plea...

Re: Bubbagen and logitechmediaserver-bin (Solved)

That's weird. 0.13 is the correct version for the `_p3` installation and in the older `_p2` installation it is also not version 0.08 but 0.11. That said it does appear I should make some changes to the binary release because the `_p3` is bound to fail in a similar way on installations that did not ...

Re: Bubbagen and logitechmediaserver-bin (Solved)

Not seeing any errors there. The ones in /opt/logitechmediaserver/Logs/server.log are obvious old (2016) and likely the result from trying to run slimserver.pl directly from the command line. What version of bubbagen are you running? It could be a perl module incompatibility, which would also expla...

Re: Bubbagen and logitechmediaserver-bin

Hi Gordon. Had to mask media-sound/logitechmediaserver-bin-7.8.0_p3 to get logitechmediaserver to work again. echo ">media-sound/logitechmediaserver-bin-7.8.0_p2" > /etc/portage/package.mask/logitechmediaserver emerge --oneshot media-sound/logitechmediaserver-bin Can you indicate what pro...

Re: Bubbagen and logitechmediaserver-bin

Looks like the owner is set incorrectly on that folder. Unsure why these files are even stored there - it must have made sense at some point but for this type of use they should not be in /etc but in /var/lib. To fix your issue now ssh into the box (as root) and type the following on the command li...

Bubbagen and logitechmediaserver-bin (Solved)

Hey all! Did a hard disk change and also made the change from Debian to Bubbagen 1.11.0 on my B3. Now I'm trying to get logitechmediaserver-bin started, but it does not want to start. :( Also tried to reinstall logitechmediaserver-bin, but no luck there either. Suggestions someone? :D 3 ~ # /etc/ini...

package though.
Ok, to my humble knowledge net-snmp is snmpd.

Code: Select all

apt-get install snmpd
