Re: Release notes for Excito Bubba 2&3 software version 2.6
Hey Johannes, Thanks for the new upgrade. Notes * Since this is a farily large update, the web UI may be unresponsive for a while during update. Don't worry, this is normal. One minor hickup during the upgrade : the apache2 service did not restart automatically at the end, so the web UI became unres...

Re: Backup mail subject always show (failed)
This is a problem I already communicated to Excito. The problem is that the backup script, run by cron at a certain time, always returns a non-zero value. The cron daemon sees a return value of non-zero as a failed job. This cron daemon also mails the output of the job to the user, and because it f...

Backup mail subject always show (failed)
Hi all,
I've had some trouble with my B2 backups lately due to a malfunctioning NAS. This has been fixed and the B2 backups are ok now, but the subject of the backup mail notifications keeps showing (failed) at the end.
Any idea how this can be fixed ?
TIA,
Effevee

Re: Problems with fetch mail and DNS addresses
Clive, try changing your resolv.conf like this : domain bredband.net search bredband.net nameserver 195.54.122.193 nameserver 195.54.122.194 The nameservers in this file are the 2 nameservers for bredband.net (ns1.bredband.com and ns2.bredband.com). I hope this will solve your problem. Regards, Effe...

Re: bubba not accessible anymore
Configure your pc with a fixed ip address in the same range, and connect it directly to your bubba 2. You can then open the admin webpage and change the ip address of your bubba server.

Re: smbfs filesystem not supported by the kernel
Hi,
Have you tried mounting with the cifs fs ? I believe smbfs doesn't work anymore with the newer kernels
