I had a look as well and it seems messy. Although I might be wrong, I felt it was a lot work for something which will end up to require a lot of resources (cpu).RandomUsername wrote:Anyone tried this yet and got any news (good or bad) to report?
Was thinking about having a go myself.

Out of curiosity, can't you install TVheadend using a deb package on B3?

Re: How to use a DVB-T TV capture device with Bubba Two
Hi Jonte,
it is working fine for me, I've connected it to a jailbroken ATV2 and I can record and watch live tv. streaming over the network works fine too.
Because of a lack of good programs on the British tv, I use it less than expected but I think you get the cable working and more.

Re: python-qt4-dbus for ppc
I've eventually solved my problem installing hplip-2.8.9
This version doesn't require python-qt4-dbus and the printer works fine.
cheers,

python-qt4-dbus for ppc
Hi, I'm trying to install my HP Deskjet F2180 on a bubba 2 server and haven't any luck so far. command: apt-get install hplip seems to install a too old version of hplip which is not supporting the printer. I've tried to download hplip from the offcial website but it needs python-qt4-dbus to run. py...

USB DVB
I was thinking about installing a DVB card (i.e. eyetv diversity) as a USB device on my Bubba Two
I'm just wondering whether the CPU will be powerful enough or not to use deal with such a device.
Any idea?
Thanks

Re: mt-daapd does not index .flac
Hi,
it seems my bubba firefly is working fine and indexing flac files and even transcode them.
Maybe you can try to create a smart playlist including only flac files using firefly web interface.

Bubba as a time machine
Hi,
it seems to be possible setting up a Debian like as an Apple Time Machine
http://www.kremalicious.com/2008/06/ubu ... ne-volume/
I wasn't able do it on bubba though.
Is it possible, and does sombody in Excito have tested that?
Regards,
Tom
