If you have never made an upgrade then I suggest that resolving this problem is the first step since there has been some major updates to the software handling downloads. Are you familiar with using the command line? Can you, as Eek asked, post your /etc/apt/souces.list and also the output from the ...

Hi,

We released an update a couple of days ago that fixed some issues with the downloadmanager when corrupt links or torrent files was added.
Please make sure you are running the latest release.

Also, is it possible for you to provide the link that crashes your system?

Hi, We have been using TRACE32 from http://www.lauterbach.com for lowlevel development. But this is a fairly exensive tool. However the "wiggler" _should_ work, but we have not tested it. Checkout this tutorial http://www2.amontec.com/sdk4arm/ext/jlynch-tutorial-20061124.pdf regarding sett...

Hi, You should be able to get the size of the user partition by changing in the file "/usr/share/web-admin/index.php". There is a section where "disk_free_space" is called on the "/" partition. If you change this (and the corresponding disk_total_space") to "/...

Hi,

The web interface only shows the size of the first partition, not both.
In the etch release, the disk is formatted as two partitions in order to be able to reinstall the system without loosing user data.
Only the root partition is shown, not the user partition.

Hi,

The files should be located in "/var/www/html" not "/var/www".

This area is also mounted on /home/web, so either can be used.

The actual virus threat is rather small for bubba since very few user files are acually executed on bubba. Bubba can hold infected files for you, just as any harddrive, but in these cases Bubba should mainly be seen as "just a harddrive". What can be done is that some exploits can be used ...

Hi,

Check out, as root, the mail log files in "/var/log/" directory.
You will need to log in using ssh to access these files.

Hi,

The buba-package provides print-server capabilities and relies on cups to provide these functions to the bubba-package. Therefor, uninstalling cups will break these dependencies and "apt-get" will remove the bubba-package as well.

Hi, Regarding transfer speeds, Bubba is not the fastest on the market, but the speeds that you report are off by a factor 10. What usually is the cause for these problems is a DNS-setting that does not work as it should, some lookups does not work correctly. Are you running static och dynamic networ...

Can you reach the web-interface directly with http://bubba/web-admin?

If not, can you try to ping bubba from the commandline? My interest here is to see if your computer manages to solve the hostname "bubba" to an ip-adress.
