Is there a way to enable exporting of articles to PDF format in the wiki?
It would be very useful to have an offline copy of the articles.

Re: B3 Backup speed
I had the same problem and solved it by setting vm.min_free_kbytes = 8192 I don't recommend using NTFS-3G, it is very slow. Format the disk as EXT3. It is better to create a script and make it run using crontab: For example backup.sh #!/bin/bash #Main backup to Disk 2 (Connected with USB) mount /dev...

Oh, that makes sense.
truecrypt
Did anyone successfully install Truecrypt on B3 Server?
I get this error after installing from their website:

Re: Samba not started after reboot
It solved my problem when changing interfaces = br0 to eth1. Perhaps an update should change this setting? br0 is the wlan interface and eth1 is the LAN interface. However I still experience slow response and often no response when typing \\192.168.10.1 from a Windows computer even if the services a...

Re: B3 Network dies
Does it indicate that the problem is software related or hardware related? Have you found a temporary fix?

Re: B3 dies without errors
I have got a new unit but the problem is still ongoing. After manual restart I see this in the log: The garbage text does not appear each time. I have contacted the support for additional troubleshooting. Dec 4 14:23:23 b3 kernel: [ 315.526721] wlan0: no IPv6 routers present h oC [C ...

Re: B3 dies without errors
I am having the exact problem. It also happens during rsync backup and the only way is to reboot the device manually by taking out the power. Edit: the problem might be just that it doesn't handle heavy load, even if the cpu doesn't run high, the memory could be filled up, but that should have indic...

Re: Write-permissions on mounted, external Hard Drive?
try doing:
apt-get install ntf3-3g
and then mount it again from the shell, not from the GUI.
it works for me.

I have had the same problem. It should be set to 8192 kbytes by default.
Re: New wiki
isn't it a good idea to copy the current howtos from here and put them into the new wiki as well?
it is better to have one main source that is updated.
