There are som differnt binary with extensions: .x86 .armeb .armeb.eabi .mipsel .ppc Unfortunately I don't know the exact architecture of the B3, but I can clear out the extensions above: x86 = Yes, its the good old x86 ;) armeb = ARM EABI Big-endian armel = ARM EABI Little-endian (not in the list, ...

Are there not other tasks that need root previlegies that is done through the admin interface? Like software update? Obviously you don't want to give every user the possibility to mess up the system (like the verry good example above), but when logged in as admin it would be ok I think (if it is doa...

Im not sure, but I thought you had to be super user and accessing through the local machine to get access to the mysql database? That would reduce the amount of processes and idiots that can get the controll... But as I said, not sure...

I think you missunderstood that a bit. The B3 has no more problems with processes that grows to large than any other system (as far as I have seen/heard).

Yeah, bubba should by default have software that can detect usb modem, so can auto detect and connect

Well, first of all you need to realise the fact that this is a verry light weight machine. If you want to host several hundreds downloads simultaneously, you will probably have to look at a larger machine. But if you intend to have a couple of downloads at a time, then you will be fine.
