WLAN issue with B3 an HP Laserjet

Hi Folks, I am having strange issues with my B3 WLAN. I can connect just about every device with no problem. Just with an older HP laserjet 1320nw printer it is not possible. I think I tried every possible channel and configuration (g only; g+n; 20MHz, 40MHz, all channels). It does work fine though ...

Re: Power Save Mode B3

Well, I didn´t measure, I was just assuming according to what it says at the plug - 12V, 3A

Anyway, in your example 83% of energy is for the drive...

Cheers,

Re: Power Save Mode B3

I think that different users have different use cases and different intentions in displaying or hiding things. Well, considering that even when you have the B3 well-fanned, wouldn´t it be nice to know it uses only the absolute minimum in energy? Even if energy consumption is already quite low, 20Wat...

Re: Display the HDD temperature in the web portal [patch]

After updating software to Version 2.3 the temperature display is gone and I didn´t succeed in installing it again, I get this message: Hmm... Looks like a unified diff to me... The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |diff -urN admin//controllers/stat.php ../admin/controllers/st...

Power Save Mode B3

Hello Developers + all folks concerned with bringing this product to life, having solved quite a bit of my temperature problems (HDD temp 60°C; see http://forum.excito.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3275&e=0) I would still like to ask if there maybe is a technical solution to this. In order to brin...

Re: B3 always busy, system temperature ~60°C

I was never thinking the product was faulty. Just didn´t know what was going on inside ;-) Didn´t know about the need for constant logging for example... Is it possible to completely switch off logging? Or anything else that normally accesses HDD regularly but I could maybe live without? Anyway, I a...

Re: B3 always busy, system temperature ~60°C

Thanks for the comments so far. I know that the place is very bad for the device - on my desk the B3 has just about 45°C which seems to be normal. I just refuse to understand that it needs HDD access all the time even when all services are stopped and it is "doing" nothing. What is it good...

B3 always busy, system temperature ~60°C

Hi Folks, My B3/Wifi usually works as a squeezebox server, some downloads occasionally and data storage. Although the quite low useage it seems busy all the time, harddisk is spinning, temperature is high (ca. 60°C) Even when I switch off ALL services the thing is running like mad, temperature not l...
