Re: Error downloading
Ok, a re-start of your Bubba should do it. And if not, remove any torrent files in /home/user/torrent and do the restart. A restart of FTD has solved the issue so far. I haven't had to restart the Bubba because of it. When FTD starts again it checks through the files and resumes the download. For m...

Re: Error downloading
Got the error message again, remembered to copy it this time. Here's what it says on my B2. Dunno if that helps... A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Warning Message: stream_socket_client() [function.stream-socket-client]: unable to connect to unix:///tmp/ftdaemon (Connection refused) Filename: f...

Re: Error downloading
I've also experienced a similar problem. When trying to delete finished torrents from bubbamon (although I don't know if this is due to bubbamon) FTD crashes. A stop/start of FTD from the command line solves the issue. FTD checks through the torrent files in queue, and then resumes downloading or se...

Good to know, I'll be on the lookouttor wrote: We do however plan to rewrite large parts of the web based filemanager. And hopefully we will support symlinks then.

Re: External Hard disk copying issue
OK solved the issue. Great! Note that Windows on the other hand doesn't have native support for EXT-volumes, if you plan to use the USB-harddrive in Windows that is. I use a driver/program called "EXT2 Volume Manager" to read/write to my EXT-formatted USB-harddrive in Windows. Just a tip ...

B2 Web-interface File Manager and symbolic links
Just a small request to have the Web-interface File Manager be able to find and follow symbolic links.

Re: External Hard disk copying issue
Hi, I connected a 250 Gb western digital HD tot the USB port of Bubba2. Could it be an NTFS-formatted harddrive? Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know The Bubba2 only has read-support for NTFS-harddrives. Although there is a NTFS read/write driver for Linux called NTFS-3G which works in my ...

Re: Filesystem for external harddrive (backup)
And from reading some more on the forum ( http://forum.excito.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1804&p=8330 ), B2 will do read/write to NTFS with the NTFS-3G package from Etch backports. Which answers my question, and (hopefully) solves my problem. ;) No need for backports. I installed the NTFS-3g wi...

Re: Filesystem for external harddrive (backup)
I suppose it depends on your use case as to which file system would work best. I did some more reading. The disk, and its RAID-controlling software is either for MacOS or Windows, which sounds like HFS+ or NTFS is the way to go in my ears. I don't intend to use the B2 RAID function, merely have the...

Filesystem for external harddrive (backup)
Hi. Planning on buying a WD Mybook Mirror Edition. Raided external HDD which I plan to use as a backup location for my B2. I don't what FS it comes formatted with, but my question is basically the following: 1. Will any filesystem do for the B2 to backup to? (NTFS or HFS+ I guess) 2. If not, is EXT2...

Re: WebDAV support
That said it should of course be possible to export a dedicated Dav area from Bubba. But i'm not sure that this has any good use case. I was planning on using WebDAV in that way. Create a dedicated area, in this case for a work-project involving 3 people. Sharing/using documents. We now use an Appl...

Re: WebDAV support
@gb119 UPDATE: Odd or not, I checked my sources.list and it already has an uncommented debian etch main line (last edited november 2008). Still a good idea to comment the line after apt-geting Apache 2 PAM-module? I tend to work on the "if it ain't broke..." principle Haha, I like the way...
