Just an FYI: With Bubba and the PS3 running the latest firmware, they work together like a dream.

Mediatomb does an awesome job of streaming content from Bubba to my PS3, so photos, video etc all works.

iTunes can see any of my music on Bubba using Firefly.

That's a pretty cool idea actually. You take it a step further and create Vista sidebar gadgets, Mac OS Dashboard widgets, or others. Bubba just needs the hooks to be able to pull the data out.

Bubba's not going to allow you to stream those formats to your 360. In order to do that, you'd need to transcode them, as the 360 doesn't support the formats you've listed. There doesn't appear to be any way to specify a username and password for a download. This would be quite nice as a feature enhancement.
