Possible to pause the torrent downloader?

How do one pause the torrent downloader? I started to download a huge torrent file, and a bit surprisingly it downloads pretty quick. Therefore I need to pause it to prevent my Internet service provider from getting mad at me. The torrent downloader it self don't seem to have such an option. Maybe t...

Re: B3: Unstable internet connection since 2.4

I did the 2.4 upgrade today, and at first I thought that I had the same problem that You mention. But after some poor test results at "Bredbandskollen" via wifi, I also tried it via a non wifi connection with normal results. I hope I can stand it until the next update, since there obviousl...

What dist to choose?

As a Linux newbie(more or less) I would like to install Debian on an old Pc. The the sole purpose would be to fiddle around with it and to get more acquainted with Linux and in the future also better master my B2/B3. Later on depending on the progress I might even consider assigning a few tasks for ...

I am considering retiring this server (PATA drives, etc.) for a B3.

Re: External USB drive & B3.

I was just thinking. I had the same problem trying to power an external USB 2 disk which is self-powered on all other equipment. I also have the wireless B3 model though. Could it be the wireless that is affecting it? I did manage to power the disk with a Y cable though. without owning a B3 wifi ye...

Re: B1/2 -> B3 upgrade discount

Hi!

What about the USB ports, do they really meet up with the USB 2.0 standard when it comes to the ability to supply power?

Re: External USB drive & B3.

This is really interesting since I'm really considering buying a B3. My bubba2(no wifi) that came with a 3A power supply don't seem to have any problems whatsoever with supplying power to an external USB powered hard drive. Would a more powerful power supply connected to B3 make a difference or is i...

Re: No temp displayed with BubbaMon!

I cant really tell, but when trying to install the package a second time, a message says that the packages is already installed, and that did not happen the first time, so I guess not. I did a complete reinstall of my B2 1-2 months ago with the latest revision at that time, and have not tampered wit...

Re: No temp displayed with BubbaMon!

Hi Johan! I get all the info except the temperature. I haven't configured downloads so it says "configure BubbaMon!" which is logic. No, I am not sure that hddtemp is installed on my bubba. However, I am pretty sure that no installation is necessary according to the instructions at http://...

Re: No temp displayed with BubbaMon!

Thanks for You replay! I actually stumbled on that thread myself soon after starting this thread. I guess that it is the only way to proceed right now, and as soon as I got some spare time over I at least will try to. Since no "a proper fix" is available now(more than six months after it f...

No temp displayed with BubbaMon!

I cant seem to get any temp values from BubbaMon. All other info like: uptime, version, partitions etc. is displayed and seems to be correct, but the temperatures is reported as: sda N/A (Not applicable/Not available) Nowadays BubbaMon and B2 works together directly "from out of the box" a...

Re: Fresh install

A normal install uses 11GB for the system, 10GB for the root partition, and 1GB for reserve swap space; The default used space on the storage partition is now only a few KB as the default web has been dropped, before that around 1MB was used. other than that the partition and filesystem uses some s...
