It is possible to connect an external harddisk using USB, and that could be suitable for scheduled backups for not too large systems. The USB is only "Full speed" which means 12Mbit/s, but for a backup solution this might work.

Were you accessing the unit from external or internal adresses? It sounds to me as if your router rebooted and that you got a admin login to your router before it was up and running forwarding the http-port to your bubba. The text you saw did not come from bubba, there should be no login on http oth...

However we have not seen that 64MB is very limiting since we do nor run any graphical applicaitons on the board so most of the ov...

It wil not be supported by the current bubba, but we have other products in the development stage, and we will of course see if this is a feature that can be added.

Hi, Regarding the use of external harddrives, yes it is possible, but not really recommended. The reason for this is that even if the USB is 2.0 complient it is only USB "full speed" which is 12Mbit/s and therefor too slow to actually be running a disk on with any reasonable performance. /PA

SPGM / Gallery Mage

I have tried a fairly simple solution to have bubba serve a photogallery. On the serverside I run SPGM gallery. This is a pretty simple gallery but it has features like adding comment on the pictures and does not require MySQL. To create the actual galleries I use "Gallery Mage" which will...
