Re: Connection 2 B3 servers
Not 100% sure of this, but I think you can add a "remote account" (admin -> settings -> remote account), and it will automatically show up under /home/storage/extern

Re: Excito B3 brand and remaining B3 stock purchased !
You 'think they are having shipping issues'? After confirming that my B3 left Canada on 9th February? And they didn't tell me this? Or bother replying to messages on this forum? Excuse me, but I think you made a very bad choice selling your stock to Rodeus. You are right, that was a sloppy remark. ...

excitostore.com works as usual!
[Edit:] Or, sorry, didn't read the preceeding posts properly. I will poke Rodeus about this, I think they are having shipping issues.

Re: Unpopulated ICs
Hi! Yes, the first one is for a NAND flash. We never used it, but it was ment as an alternative to boot without disk (large enough to hold a kernel and system fs), but we never persued that. Example part number that would fit: Samsung K9F5608U0D-PCB0. However the footprint and pinout is standard so ...

Re: Boot problem B3
What we have seen is installations that become corrupt for unknown reasons. Sometimes with parts of the filesystem missing (giving a partially working system), sometimes not booting at all. Throwing the USB stick in the bin and downloading a new install image has helped us a few times, but we never ...

Re: How to replace hardrive?
The LED is green Before you run away with this, a green LED on B3 means it starts in install mode, and the only way this can happen is either a motherboard hardware failure, or that the rear button is constantly pressed. So please check that the rear button isn't accidentally pressing against somet...

If it's blinking yellow, it's hardly a B2, is it? B2's blink blue, right?

Re: Need Help for CIFS Client
fourth guy trying to interpret this post: :) You want to mount \\b3\home\admin (the /home/admin folder, not the www service) as a samba folder from a windows machine? Just browse to \\b3, enter home, then admin, then right-click and select "map network drive" to make it persistent? If this...

Re: Update UBOOT from OS
again I might be wrong since this is from memory, but I think it doesn't read your flash memory correctly. Try anotherone and double check the contents. It should have the "install" folder in root.

Re: Update UBOOT from OS
Perhaps a dumb question, but do you press and hold the rear button when appyling power? Does the front LED light up green for a while, before it fails? I might be wrong but the serial low you show doesn't look as it's trying to load from USB...
