Hi Johannes, I've done some more testing on this tonight to see what I can figure out. First off, I've tried the fix you've mentioned, and it's essential to get more than 25 seconds of streaming to work. I can't get it to apply on a permanent basis though, despite editing disable-offload. Any ideas ...

FireFly needs constant restarts
Hi, I mentioned this in the firefly rebuffering thread, but don't know if it's been buried. Every time I listen to something using iTunes, it seems to lock out Firefly for any other sessions until I restart mt-daapd. I'd really like to get this working, so would appreciate any help! Now that a fix h...

Certainly looks like this has fixed things for me too. Excellent work. I don't think I've quite got the silicon fix applying on a reboot yet, so I need to work on that, but so far I've managed to stream a whole album's worth of music through iTunes. Dramatically better than the previous 25 seconds.....

WordPress installed
I've managed to install WordPress on Bubba|Two with relative ease. MySQL is installed out of the box, so it's simply a case of copying files across, creating a database and user, and configuring WordPress. Speed-wise it's perfectly acceptable. I doubt it would cope with a heavy load (maybe with some...

Bubba|Two Hasty Pics and First Impressions
I'm reposting this from the other forum, but now there's a Bubba|Two forum I figure it's worth doing so people can find it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I haven't had a massive amount of time to test it yet, but given the limited tests I have p...

I haven't had a massive amount of time to test it yet, but given the limited tests I have performed, I'm very impressed. So far: Throughput is twice as fast as Bubba (I've tested SMB transfers and FTP) The web interface is much snappier, and prettier (imo) It seems to run cooler than the original ve...

My Bubba|Two arrived this morning, and I've just given it a very quick unscientific test to see how it performs compared to the original. If I copy a folder full of video from my Vista desktop to my original Bubba, I get a speed of 3.20 MB/sec according to Vista's copy window. If I perform the same ...

Z-Push: Would be a nice feature for Bubba?

I think it would be great to see this "cooked" into Bubba's firmware, if possible. I've heard it can be used to configure push gmail (you have to point it at an imap server...why not use google's) on a device that supports it.
