Hi
Just a bit curiousity.
Asparak are use using Jumbo frames for that 7MB maximum data rate or is that achieved with standard sized Ethernet frames ?

Re: Bubba backup ... not working ??
Thanks RandomUsername.
I'll do a search and see about that.
I don't mind if the backup is slow or buggy, If it just does what it is suppose to do.
Make the damn BACKUPS ! without need for constant supervision.

Bubba backup ... not working ??
Problem with Bubba backup feature. About a week ago I set up Bubba to make backups of its files to an external eSATA hard drive. Few days ago I decided to test how does the backup restore work. It didn't. :( Bubba's restore page at web-GUI announced that backups were succesful. There were backups lo...

Re: RAID recovery failure
Good new for RAID users. Update (1.3.1) has fixed RAID recovery feature once again. Both internal and external RAID recovery works great. There's also a nice Message box feature added in Bubba's status screen, which is informing user if there appears to be a problem with the RAID. Thank you Excito. ...

Re: Network and disk throughput
Quickly read through your link and cannot agree your information about Gigabit Ethernet maximun speed being ~7,8 Mbyte/s. 8 Channnels ??? 125 Mbytes/s as theoretical maximum transfer rate seems right. I don't buy that 7,8 Mbyte/s max transfer rate for a gigabit Ethernet, because I can get my 100Mb E...

Re: portforwarding
Hi You can try it with like this. source ip: all public port: 80 Port 80 is the general port used for http services. It seems that you need to open port 443 also, if you are planning to serve secured https web pages. Need to do another rule in Bubba's firewall for port 443. private port: 80 private ...

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0
The upgrade went smoothly, no problems with it. As so many others, I am also suffering SAMBA problem. Need to manually restart SAMBA after Bubba reboot. Probably there is not much need for reboots unless there's a power cut. Info regarding the Samba problem. I am using Bubba as server+router+firewal...

CUPS UI (Bubba) can you print test page from Bubba without problems?
If so then the problem must in Windows printer installations ....

RAID recovery failure
RAID recovery has unfortunately broke again with update 1.2.4. Please Excito team, could you update your Bubba USB image download archive and make available that image, which has a working RAID recovery function ! Then there would be some sort of workaround or backdoor to restore user data in case o...

Re: Possible RAID once again
Hi I do believe that RAID recovery bug has raised it's uglu head once again. Bubba had been running several weeks RAIDed. Now I had to do software reinstallation and result was that Brio did not recognise external eSATA RAID disk anymore. RAID status says: RAID array degraded Disk missing in RAID ar...

Re: No mailserver after boot
I am having the same problem for the Upnp service (Mediatomb). Doesn't start anymore after reboot even though the service is checked in the Web GUI. It still runs if I start it manually from the console. Probably this has nothing to do with service problems discussed here. Upnp setting is not retai...
