Re: Wifi stopped working...
Ok. Things are REALLY REALLY beginning to drive me nuts now. After replacing the mother board and rolling bak some packages things work. Kinda. Sometimes. When things work well I can easily get 100Mb/s out of the wifi. And then sometimes it just doesn't. When simply pinging the B3 from my laptop som...

Re: [request] Extensibility of the admin interface
No, munin does exactly what the OP is asking for. Not at all. The OP wants a way of adding stuff to the web admin interface. I guess one example could be a "plugin" that added a surveillance menu to the interface, containing Munin graphs, but I can see other uses for this as well. For exa...

Re: Installation of bit torrent sync on bubba two
There is no arm processor in Bubba 2. Bubba 1 (aka Bubba server) and B3 uses arm, B2 uses PPC.

Re: Wifi stopped working...
Hehe, that Donkey fence again. Never ending story. :D We tested your board today and actually found one HW error, the eSATA port did not work. Which probably is very unrelated, right? Otherwise we can't find anything wrong. Glad it works now anyways. :) Haha... That's kinda funny... The eSATA port ...

Re: Wifi stopped working...
Thing is, I finally got things to work. It seems this was a combination between three problems: 1. Some kind of hw fault on my B3 mother board. Excito sent me a new one. I've now sent the old one back, with any luck Excito can tell me exactly what's wrong with it. Or they'll just ditch it, that's fi...
Re: B4?
My personal guess: somtime in late spring - a while after Wheezy "is done". I just noticed that there's now an official release date for Wheezy, it will be released next weekend. I'm not drawing any conclusions from this though... /Daniel edit: Source: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel...

:? Nothing, I'm just saying that's a smart comment. Like in: you probably got something there. Have to say, you're probably the first one picking up on me writing something cynical on a forum. Kind of a shame though that you did it when I wasn't... :D Ok. Peace then. The reason I really thought you...

Re: Bubba server a dead project?
Yes, I'm also beginning to think it's time for Excito to make some kind of statement here. Haven't heard a word in a long time about the B4 that I thought was supposed to be released in 2012 and as the OP says there is not much happening in B3 updates neither. I guess a lot of effort went into the V...

Re: Airport not working
Not that I know anything about that Apple hocus pocus, but maybe the router needs to have some kind of support for Airplay? Something that's built into the Airport but not the B3? If I'm not misremembering Apple likes doing broadcasting of their stuff, maybe something in the B3 is blocking that? Any...

Re: Drop ftd as BT client in favor of Transmission-daemon
Coming back on that last request. I've set up a simple repository where you can grab the two required packages. This is really nice of you, Gordon! Could this be the dawn of a movement where we share our own packages in the community? Or even better, could Excito set up some kind of contrib reposit...

I have to agree. Kinda irritating to have such an old version installed, but I haven't had any problems with folders in torrents.nobody wrote:Strange, i installed the same version of tranmission but do not see that behaviour with lost folder structures

Re: Parental control
Yes, there sure is a market for this. Just saw this one: http://www.miipc.com/ . An entire computer just build around parenting control. So I have to agree, this would be a great thing for Excito. My kids (6 and 8 years) have started exploring the web by themselves recently, so I have plans for sett...
