Re:

I'll assume that you're able to connect to the bubba via ssh and are happy editing text files and navigating your way around a linux system and that you've enabled the main debian package repositories. If you are not then you might want to rethink your plan... What if I'm familiar with all the step...

Re: WebDAV support

It's very handy for getting at my files when behind a firewall that blocks outgoing except to well known ports.... It would be great if something like...

Re: Automatic backup, triggered by connecting device

Now with the 1.2.0 update, the built in backup option kind of makes this (great and impressive) backup solution obsolete for me. I was just wondering if any of you guys can think of an easy way to reset all the changes made when using the automatic backup described in this thread, to enable the new ...

If I use http://bubba, I end up on Internet site http://www.bubba.com/
First off, have you renamed your bubba to something else.
And secondly, are you trying to connect to your B2 locally?

Two things I can think of from the top of my head
I'm no expert though...

Re: moblock on Bubba

Found this "old" guide, I'm thinking of setting up Moblock on my B2, has anybody else tried this. Any response? //Jonte Efolch, thanks for the guide. I'd be very interested in your moblock-safestop script. Not all to comfortable in a Linux environment, I'd better be safe than sorry. I've ...

Nothing happens if I try to add a new torrent either.
I'm also having problems with the torrent download manager after update. I haven't had to restart the B2 due to hanging though.

This reminds me of an improvement I made to the script I'm running, but forgot to tell about. I added some logging to the script. Step one is to tell rsync to log its actions. Do so by replacing the rsync line with: rsync --log-file /var/log/$CMD.log -a "$FOLDER" "$MOUNT_POINT/autoba...

Was thinking of trying this solution out. Just wondering what directories are worth (essential) backing up. I was thinking of backing up my home dir and the storage dir. Johan, you mentioned: BACKUP_FOLDERS=("/etc" "/home" "/root" "/var/lib" "/var/mail&qu...

Re: More info on the problem

It seems like it happens when the bubba streams video with mediatomb from a CIFS/Samba shared drive... I would really need some help on this one :) Thanks I've experienced similar problems. I've also found the weirdest connection to Mediatomb. This sounds really strange, and sort of "out of th...
