Hi, To get the email part to work it's actually just to add a second host (space separated) to the "handle mail for domain" field in the web UI. This makes postfix accept email from both (or all, if more than two) domains. They aren't separated though, thus: user1@domain1 and user1@domain2...

Ah, no, that's not possible. That connector is an USB device port, and can only be connected to USB hosts (such as your PC). Our initial idea was to have functionality in Bubba for it to work as a standard USB disk, connected directly to a PC. However, this turned out to be technically quite difficu...

Yes, it's currently only used for factory programming. We had some plans for it, but decided not to use it.

Jocke: The IlohaMail problem is new to us, we'll have to look deeper into it. I'll get back to you on this one. lelle: Yes, you are right! It actually seems like our web-if doesn't work at all (the buttons don't work) in some versions of IE. It is a newly introduced bug that has slipped through our ...

The USB speed is limited in hardware, nothing to do in the current platform.. The same applies for firewire, not possible to add on the current platform.

(I took the liberty to move your post to the support thread) Yes, this is a known issue with the upload function. It is actually solved in our next software release (due within short, probably within one week), where the permissions are set better. Edit: Corrected a mistake here. Until then, you can...

The current platform wouldn't gain much from having GB Ethernet, there are other more significant bottlenecks. However, we are looking into a follow-up, wich most likely will have better performance (and GB Ethernet of course). No specs are set, and no decisions have been made, we'll see if and when...

Just to clarify, does the error message come directly in the web mail, or does the email seem to be sent, and then bounces with the error message?

gex: Yes, just as lelle points out, Bubba's performance is in most cases sufficient. Installing and running mysql (apache and php are already installed) is no problem, unless you are running very database intensive applications. Regarding prices, the 80 GB version costs 264 EUR, plus 40 EUR in freig...

I think that when SmartFTP refers to the "host computer" it means Bubba, for some reason Bubba won't respond to ftp traffic. Since I can't come to think of anything else, a few things to check: - is ftp enabled in the bubba services menu (I guess it has to be since you can access it locall...

Regarding performance issues; our tests show that slimserver runs quite smoothly on Bubba, with only 64 MB RAM. But you are of course corrent, the limited amount of memory is the most prominent bottleneck. The SDRAM is unfortunately not exchangeable, it is directly soldered to the board. /Johannes, ...
