Maybe downloading a lot of 'hot' torrents (mostly tripleX.divx ) triggers a thermal-shutdown of the Bubba? ;-)

Rewien, You should really give us SOME details about the systems you use, network, OS, the situation, the exact messages etc. The question you place here is like a question I once saw on a German car-forum: "This morning I could not use my car to drive to work. What is wrong?" (the answers...

Serial console port Info

Johannes did once a 'Howto'-RS232 for the Bubba.

As the Bubba/Two clearly has the same potential (inittab shows T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS0 115200 vt100) it would be nice to have the same for Bubba/Two.

Can the information on where to find the right connections on the mainboard become public?

We will probably release it in a week or two. /Carl Understanding that you have been/are very busy with solving more pressing matters, is there anything _we_ can do to assist in getting Squeeze up and running? e.g. beta testing, searching for solutions for encountered bugs, solving minor bugs, etc....

Will the auth.log show _all_ access attempts? Or are there some ways to connect that will not show up in the log? It shows all the attempts LOGGING IN (to a shell). If you enable an anonymous service (like public website), it won't show up in the auth log but in the apache log. I'm not sure what yo...

Look carefully at the reply : Answer: 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,xyz,xyz,xyz,xyz,206). It's the local IP , in the private address space which is non-routable. With PASV the FTP server 'asks' the client to connect back to *this* address. Google on "pasv ftp firewall" and you will get lo...

You might search this forum for "silicon bug" and follow the instructions to solve possible issues with that.

After that, look if the problem persists.

This is far to little info to give you a sensible answer.

Are you comfortable with Linux? (i.e. do you know HOW to start a script or program if it's not in your path?)

Include as much detail as you think is needed to explain what you have been doing sofar.

An (/some*) USB Hub will work, but keep in mind that - You will share the bandwidth amongst devices connected, so split your drives evenly over the two existing Bubba USB ports. - Don't draw (excessive-) power from the Bubba's USB port, use externally powered harddrives, or use an powered hub! *note...
