I'm also interested to get the N only option working for the WLAN!

Any news?

Before rebooting the updatebackend.p and minidnla processes bogarted most of the CPU and memory space.
After rebooting, DNLA was activated by default, even tough I had not choose to do so. I hate this kind of MS behaviour.
I notice the new DNLA setting in the admin pages, but the help page has not been updated to cover it. This also smacks of Microsoft... Please, please please keep on the straight track Excito...

Cheers,

Bummer, sorry for this. Thanks for noticing the help text, big miss by me, sorry.

Yes, this has always been greyed out according to Carl, and this mode is not supported by the driver. Is this something you would like to have? If so we can look into if it's possible later on.

I can't say for sure, but I didn't notice it being greyed out before the 2.3 update. However, it's not really needed here, still too many legacy products.

It's greyed out on 2.2.4 (not that I need it).

Yes fix it, Please!
At least for me 802.11N WLAN was the main reason for choosing Bubba with WLAN.
One neat package working as NAS, 3G router, WLAN AP and more...
Why spend +100€ to a feature that is not needed :( (...or do you give refunds  )

Bubba does support 802.11N WLAN, it's just the N-only mode that isn't supported.

Exactly, B2/B3 supports the normal n-mode just not the n-only mode ("greenfield" mode).

Sorry if my arguments were flawed.

Still waiting for the N only mode :) Please !

Ok, investigation on the n-only (greenfield) mode is now done, it's not possible since the wifi chipset doesn't have support for it. Sorry for teasing you with that greyed out option, will remove it. :)
