Installing an SSD in B2

Post by psykopatpastorn »

Hi! I am a very content user of a B2. As the HD is getting quite old, I am about to preemtively replace it before it crashes. I was thinking of an SSD.

What advice do you have? Do SSDs work with B2 and its standard OS? Or do I have to pick a particular brand?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know installing a ssd in a B2 is possible. There should be no problems.

Actually the B2 motherboard doesn't have the screw hole required for easy assembly of a 2.5" disk, but you can work that out with glue, soft foam or any other way you prefer. As for brands etc. we never officially tested but I can't imagine why it wouldn't work.
