Installing joomla and backup "admin" page.

Post by Uffe »

Hi, I am planning to installa Joomla (CMS) in my B3. Before I do this I want to backup the "default admin page". I suppose that the system does not use MySQL (by default, ie. standard settings) . Are there other things that I should backup ?

Your mysql remark is very cryptic. What does that mean? I can tell you already that in default mode mysql has no root pwd, and setting one stops the web-updater from functioning properly (something tht could have been easily fixed with a passwd file but alas). For the rest, id recommend you create a separate vhost voor joomla and leave the default pages alone. There is no reason for these things to mix. Lastly you always reinstall the bubba package and get your orignial bubba homepage back.
