B3 unable to setup RAID w/ S1

Bought a B3 (2TB) w/ an S1 (2TB). Unboxed them, plugged them in. Followed the guide for RAID and there was an error:

Caught error: Error: Operation failed in command /usr/sbin/diskmanager disk format /dev/md0 ext3 at /usr/lib/web-admin/diskdaemon.pl line 832.

Now the /home is wiped. I get errors in the web UI when browsing (caused by the missing stuff). Further attempts at RAID creation fails because of the missing home. I can't ssh in because I haven't enabled it before (it's brand new!).

I will attempt a restore following the "Re-installing your Bubba Server / Bubba2 / B3" guide available on the wiki (sorry can't post link because forum doesn't allow me as a new user). I'll report back if it did any better.

After _just_ unboxing it, I am rather disappointed.

Re-installing, doing the RAID setup w/ the old version and then upgrading to 2.5.1.2 worked.
