Network performance issues

Hi!

I have just recived my Bubba Two and I am testing some file transfers.
The problem is that the speed is only about 20/Mbits over a 100Mbit network connection.

Between my two PCs the speed is about 85Mbits, but from the Pc to the Bubba it's only 20Mbits.

What performance should I expect?

What kind of protocol did you use for file transfer?

With sftp and samba I get about 20Mbits/s. With ftp i get 40Mbits/s

When I run Iperf between my windows machine and bubba the throughput is about 80 Mbits/s

Performance,

This is very VERY good!!

I'm getting with a windows machin with bubba as NAS only 6mb/ps.

How come??

I can't exactly agree with you.

Over a 100Mbit network the normal throughput is about 80%. Im getting 20-40%. Thats bad actually!
