Hello All

My Bubba has still the default password for FireFly. I use firefly at the office (bubba at home) to play music for me.

After some checking i saw that other people log into my FireFly and play also music online or browse music..

I tried to change the password by:
#mt-daapd stop
change the admin_pw to something else... (mt-daapd.conf)
#mt-daapd start

only when the password is excito the applet runs..
how can i change the default password of the Firefly part?

Try doing the following:
# /etc/init.d/mt-daap stop
# edit
# /etc/init.d/mt-daap start

That should work

Hello

The start stop thing did not work.......

a reboor (remote: sunc, sync, reboot) did the job
