Because (I would have sworn..) it was mentioned in one of the posts there, opposed to the Bubba/II release. However, I can't find it anywhere there either. Either I read it elsewhere thinking I was reading that announcement, or it was there but edited out bc it was off-topic.
I'll let you know if I do find it back elsewhere..

In the readme file it says you can access the installer through telnet. How do I do that?

Update: Nm, managed to connect.

I'm sorry for the delay of the etch release, time really flew me by. I'm gonna try getting time over to finalize the etch release, hopefully within the month.

This is a very cool feature imo!

It's very easy to use:
* go to a console (for windows goto Run: and type cmd.exe)
* type: telnet 192.168.0.nnn
(where nnn is the ip address of bubba, it may change per router).

Linux people can discover were Bubba is living by:
"nmap -p 22,23 192.168.0.*"

Will the update contain support for iptables or is that not configured in the kernel itself?

We are not on schedule, but we have planned to work on it next week.

Hi Carl,

hope you have found time for the Etch release?

I am thinking about installing the rc2. Is it possible to update from rc2 to the final version without re-installing and configuring programs like munin or squirrelmail ?

I'm working on the issue this week, though we are going to create an image based on lenny instead.

That sounds fabulous. So an installation of the rc2 doesn´t make sense. I would need to reconfigure everything again ?
