Mount NTFS

I need to mount an external usb drive which uses NTFS. Having searched the forums there are several references to mounting an NTFS drive but with not sufficient step by step instructions for me to get it to work (i.e. for someone with very limited Linux knowledge). Wound someone be able to help? I only need read access but the ability to write would be a bonus.

Thanks.

Reading various Debian ARM sites about getting NTFS to work leads me to the conclusion that with the versions of the kernel that Bubba is running it is not possible.

I would just like to check that no one has managed to get NTFS running on a Bubba.

Thanks
